I believe that I did not included the "UTF-8 Encoding" (# -*- coding: utf-8 -*-) at the very top of the script on line 2. That will make the plugin readable for different languages other than English
I still get an error in non English language despite the UTF-8 code. I wrote this in GIMPCHAT; "I learned from MareroQ that for some non English translation you have to write: an underscore character _ and enclose the phrase with parenthesis like: _("FG to BG (RGB)"). So in line 176 pdb.python_layerfx_gradient_overlay, change the 3rd parameter to: _("FG to BG (RGB)"). I tested it with this and did not have any error."
Thank you for noticing and reaching out. I did not included the "UTF-8 Encoding" (# -*- coding: utf-8 -*-) at the very top of the script on line 2. That will make the plugin readable for different languages other than English. You can Copy and Paste the encoding, (# -*- coding: utf-8 -*-) no parenthesis, at the top of the script on Line 2.

DeleteThe file has been amended to work in all languages, try downloading it again.
